... Warton is near Carnforth in North Lancashire. On Wednesday (Mar. 12, 2003) I spent the day at the Lancashire Records Office in Preston ... and was quite surprised to find the Wrathalls. I asked Katherine Hayhurst if she knew where Buckstone was (the marriage) and she knew it well. It is an old stately house, once the home of Lord Wakefield, and it would have had many servants like the Wrathalls.
