BURNSALL AND CONISTONE PARISH RECORDS

Burnsall and Conistone-with-Kilnsey (see map) were the ancestral villages of many of the Wrathall family. Both are in the parish of Burnsall-in-Craven (see Ancestral Villages). The parish records for these villages contain considerable information on Wrathall families. Bill Wrathall of Inuvik provided copies of transcripts of these records in 1997. Bill gave the source information as follows:
"Much of my genealogical information comes from Kenneth Ball, who is a researcher in Huddersfield [Yorkshire, England] and a member of the Association of Genealogical and Record Agents. He has researched Conistone and Burnsall parish registers up to 1814, [and has sent] seven pages of [handwritten notes of] parish entries starting from 1567 for any reference to the surname Wrathall."
Kenneth Ball's notes are divided into 5 sections as follows: Other Burnsall and Conistone records are as follows: In Dec. 2009, The Internet Archive had several digitised versions of the parish register of Burnsall-in-Craven.
