We are always pleased to welcome new members be they experienced or beginners. You do not need to be very strong!

We are one of the few remaining towers to still have Yorkshire tail ends on the ropes. The weights of the bells are (in cwt, qtrs and lbs):

Yes, the second is lighter than the treble!
The church originally had one bell. In 1846 this was replaced with four new bells, and later the same year two more bells were added. In 1923 the present ring was erected by Taylors.
