INTRODUCTION
The first 14 episodes contained in this document are based on what I remember from the
1920s and 1930s, with particular attention to my parents Paul and Carrie Wrathall,
and the way they affected my life. The next 8 episodes concern my experiences before, during and after
World War. The last episode (The Trip to Sweden) took place in 1970, but it is included because it
