Be it known unto all Men by these Presents that on the


thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two the last will and


testament with one Codicil thereto of Stephen Wrathall late of New Town near Hobart Town Tasmania Yeoman


were exhibited and proved before this Honorable Court and that administration of all and singular the


personal effects and estate of the said deceased was granted by this honorable court to Abraham Hawkesford


of Hobart Town aforesaid formerly a licensed Victualler but then a mariner one of the executors in the said


named Power being reserved of making the like grant to John Roberts of New Town aforesaid Master Mariner


the other executor in the said will named And be it further known that on the twentieth day of December


in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two the said last will and Testament and codicil hereto


of the said deceased two copies whereof are hereunto annexed were also exhibited and proved before this Honorable


Court by the said John Roberts and that the like administration of all and singular the Goods chattels rights credits


of the said deceased within the Island of Tasmania and its Dependencies was and is hereby committed


to the said John Roberts, He the said John Roberts having been first sworn well and truly to perform the said


Will and Codicil by paying first the debts of the said deceased and then the legacies herein bequeathed so far as the


Estate shall hereunto extend and the law bind him And to make and exhibit to this Honorable Court a true


and perfect inventory of all and every the Goods, Chattels, rights credits and effects of the said deceased on or before the


twentieth day of June now next ensuing and to render a just and true account of his executorship when he


shall be lawfully called hereunto. And Further that he believes the Goods, Chattels, rights credits and effects of


the said deceased at the time of his death did not exceed the sum of Twenty Pounds in Tasmania


and the Dependencies thereof. ____________________________
