"Cawther" is now Cawder, and I think that Cawder Hall would be the "Cawther" referred to - now shown as Cawder Hall Farm and near Horse Close Farm, south-south-east of Skipton. Cawder Gill runs north-east from Low Snaygill. Snaygill House is on the east side of the main road from Keighley into Skipton, and on the older maps is the next building north of the Bay Horse Inn. It is now an old folks rest home. The Bradley parish boundary includes quite a lot of Snaygill, and I have never been quite sure of its course up the hill side. I am sure that "Lord" Chester is a forename but you may recall that Robert Parish had many Chesters in his family tree and William Wrathall may have been distantly related to the Chester family, although I can't find a "Lord" in the information Robert sent.
