In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Wrathall of Grassington in the Parish of Linton in the County of York Widow made this 2nd day of October in the year of our Lord 1839 in manner following that is to say I will and direct that all my just debts & funeral expenses & the costs of registering this my Will be first fully paid & satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named out of my real and personal estate but not out of £200 secured to me by my late Father upon his property at Meer Beck in the Parish of Giggleswick without needs? be meant? I give & devise unto Mr Thomas Dean Senr of Linton & Mr Joseph Mason of Grassington all my real and personal estate in Trust for the following purposes To my dear sister Elizabeth Banks of Settle in the Parish of Giggleswick I give and bequeath the interest of £200 secured to me by my late father upon his property at Meer Beck aforesaid for the term of her natural life & at her death I will and bequeath the aforesaid £200 to be equally divided between the children of my Brother-in-Law Thomas Dean of Linton I also will and bequeath whatever other property I ????? possessed of after the payment of all my just debts etc etc as aforesaid except my ?????? be divided equally between the children of my dear Brother William Procter of Lancaster? and the children of my dear Brother Robert Procter of Meer Beck aforesaid I further will and bequeath unto Elizabeth Mycock if she be living with me at the time of my death such of my clothes as she may think fit to have & the rest to my sister Elizabeth Banks aforesaid But if the aforesaid Elizabeth Mycock be not living with me at the time of my death then I will and bequeath the whole of my clothes to my sister Elizabeth Banks and in case Elizabeth Mycock should not be living with me at the time of my death & my sister Elizabeth should not survive me then I will and bequeath my clothes to be equally divided between my Nieces Lastly I do hereby appoint the aforesaid Mr Thomas Dean of Linton & Mr Joseph Mason of Grassington Joint Trustees and Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year first above written Ann Wrathall (image of seal) Signed sealed published & declared by the above named Ann Wrathall the Testator in the presence of us who at her request in her presence & in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses | |
