In the name of God Amen the eight day of September 1724 I Wrathall of Grissington in Craven and diocese of York, being infirm in body but of perfect memory, praised be God for the same, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Viz. first I do revoke and make void all wills by me formerly made and declare and appoint this my last Will and Testament. Item. I give and bequeath to Jane Wrathall, my dear and loving wife, all that one parcell of ground called Coultraikes? lyeing in the Townfields of Grissington aforesaid to have and to hold to her heirs and assignes for ever, and that the said Coultraikes? Land may be in the sole power of the said Jane Wrathall my beloved wife to lett or sell or otherwise dispose of the same, as to her shall deem meet and convenient, or as her occasions shall require, for and towards the paying and discharging my just and lawfull debts. Item, I give and bequeath all my Goods and personall Estate whatsoever to Jane my said wife. Item. I give and devise to all my grandchildren twelve pence each to be paid within twelve months after my decease by my Executors hereafter named, and I do constitute nominate and appoint my dear and loving wife Jane Wrathall sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
