In the name of God Amen I Susanah Wreathall of Thorp in the parish of Burnsall and County of York being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following Viz First and principally I comend my soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping that the meritorious death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my Sins and to inherit everlasting life and my Body I comit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter mentioned and touching? the disposition of all such temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth first my will and mind is that my Son William Wreathall of Thorpe shall enter into all that Estate lying within the territoryes of Thorpe aforesaid late belonging to William Wrathall my Hisband deceased and bequeathed to my said Son William Wreathall and to enter to it at my decease according to the true intent of my late Husbands will to pay ten pounds to each of both Sisters viz to Mary Wilkinson to Elizabeth Parker and to Susanah Joy six months after my decease without interest for the same according to the true intent and meaning of my said Husbands Will Item I give to my said Son William Wreathall all my Lands Tenements Houses Barns and Buildings whatsoever with all my Cattle gates lying or being within the Teritories of Thorpe aforesaid and at my decease to enter to the same provided he shall commence no suits in law against any of his above said three sisters upon the act? of my trusts and tuition I had of him in his minority for the Estate which his late Uncle Thomas Wreathall gave him and my will and mind is that if my said Son William Wreathall shall commence any such suit in law upon the said account then my said Lands Tenements houses barns and Buildings with all my Cattle gates I give to my said three daughters and I give full power to sell and dispose of them to defend the said suit and as for the rest of my Lands lying at Threshfield in the parish of Linton and County aforesaid with all my Household goods I dispose of as followeth my will and mind is that my Just Debts and Funerall Expences and probate of this my will shall be paid out of my Land at Threshfield and out of my Household goods and sale bills which will become due at the 25 day of March next ensueing Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Will Wilkinson Twenty Shillings to be paid to him out of Threshfield Lands Houses household goods and sale bills which is left in revertion when my Debts Funerall Expences and probate of the charge of my will is discharged tho the household goods be before disposed of I Expect (Except?)one Chist standing in the parlour which I Give and Bequeath the same to my daughter Susanah Joy and all the revertions of my said household goods sale bills and Lands at Threshfield I Give and Bequeath unto my three Daughters viz to Mary Wilkinson to Elizabeth Parker and to Susanah Joy to be equally devided amongst them share and share alike and as to my husbandry geere First I Give and Bequeah one cart and one pare of Clogwheels unto my Son-in-law Robert Joy all the rest of my said husbandry geer I Give and Bequeath unto my said Son William Wrathall Lastly I Constitute an Appoint my three daughters Mary Wilkinson Eliz. Parker and Susanah Joy Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke ?????? and make voide all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of June Anno Dom 1723 Susanah Wreathall her mark Signed Sealed and Published proved ?????? and declared by the said Susanah Wreathall as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers ??????
