Note 2: Christine Clement of Te Puke, New Zealand, has made available her database NEW ZEALAND AND WORLD WAR ONE: ROLL OF HONOUR of U. K. citizens serving in the New Zealand armed forces from 1914 - 1923. In July 2005, Christine's database contained the following information:

3/105 Private WRATHALL William Henry N. Z. M. C. D. O. D. 1915 Sep 13 UK x Gallipoli

which indicates William Henry died of disease at the battle of Gallipoli. It is likely that this is the same William Henry who was born in Burnley, Lancashire in the 1st quarter of 1882 (Wrathall Birth Data (1878-1884)) and was married in Burnley in the 4th quarter of 1903 (Wrathall Marriages (1900 -1906)).
In May 2006, a similar record for William Henry could also be found at the BURNLEY CEMETERY NAMES website.
