Found a reference in Norfolk to the will of a Catherine Wrathall of Long Preston, being a curious person I took an hour off to look for the connection. Found nothing [regarding the connection] but two Wrathall families living in Long Preston in 1881, and traced Catherine's husband's family back to John in Keighley.Denis provided the following data on these Keighley and Long Preston families:

At the last meeting of the Keighley FHS the secretary reported receipt of a quantity of photographs from a member, Nick Delves, in Derbyshire. Amongst these were a number of photos of the Wrathalls of Bendgate, Long Preston. I have contacted Nick and he says that hisIn Mar. 2006, Derek sent several more photos of the family of Thomas Wrathall, which Derek received from another descendant, Anne Bankart:g-grandfather Edward DELVES married Mary Ann ARMISTEAD and [Edward's] brother, Thomas Hirst DELVES, married Annie WRATHALL. To confuse matters slightly, Mary Ann and Annie were cousins by their mothers, whose mother was Mary COCKSHOTT.Nick also sent on a disc with these photos, and I have borrowed the disc from the FHS.
