What is the mailing list for?It is primarily intended as a research aid for any questions / queries / information concerning Wrathall genealogy. This includes variants on the spelling of the name such as Wrathell, Wraythall or Wrathall Bull.How do I post to the list?By sending an email message to wrathall-l@rootsweb.com - note only post to the "-l" as the "-d" is automagically built up from the "-l" postings.What can I post to the list?Any questions / queries / information concerning Wrathall genealogy. This includes variants on the spelling of the name such as Wrathell, Wraythall or Wrathall Bull. Please do NOT post large attachments. If you have some information such as a scanned image etc. please do not send it to the whole list. It is better to mail the list to see who is interested and then send them the attachment directly.What are the list and digest options?The list is available in two forms. The first is know as list (WRATHALL-L) and means that you will receive each message posted to the list as an individual mail. The second option is the digest which will group messages together and them mail you a single email containing an index and each of the messages. The rules for when this mail is sent are complex however they include the number of postings so that the message is not enormous, and an elapsed time so that the messages are sent within a reasonable time of being posted to the list.How do I subscribe to the list?To subscribe in list mode send an email to wrathall-l-request@rootsweb.com with no subject and the word "subscribe" as the only text in the body of the message - don't include the quotation marks.
